Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and Account (18+ Only)

NOLIFECLUB is intended for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to access or use the Services, including the Discord bot, slash commands, and any server that installs the bot. By signing in, inviting the bot, running a command, or continuing to use the Services, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. We may terminate accounts and remove the bot from servers if we have reason to believe a user is under 18.

You agree to provide accurate information when signing in via Discord, Google, or other authorized providers. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

You can deactivate or permanently delete your own account from My Account → Settings → Danger Zone. Deactivation hides your public profile and pauses membership (submit, request, forum post, react) until you sign in and reactivate. Permanent deletion removes your login, email, Discord/Google link, handle, and profile fields. Forum posts and approved gallery pieces remain under the name “Deleted member” so threads and the collection stay intact. Staff bans are separate and cannot be undone from Danger Zone.

2. User Conduct and Content

You are solely responsible for all content you submit, post, upload, or otherwise make available through the Services ("User Content"), including art, music, radio releases, album art, forum posts, comments, profile information, and submissions.

• You retain ownership of your User Content.
• You grant NOLIFECLUB a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, publicly perform, broadcast, playlist, and display your User Content in connection with the Services (including public gallery, Curation, forum, profiles, NOLIFECLUB Radio / AzuraCast, NLC Artists, Open Submissions and other playlists, promotional materials, and Discord bot embeds / slash-command replies).
• You represent that your User Content does not infringe any third-party rights and complies with all applicable laws, and that you have the right to license the audio and artwork you upload (including replacement mixes).

Prohibited conduct includes (but is not limited to): illegal activity, harassment, hate speech, spam, doxxing, copyright infringement, impersonation, or anything that would make us have to deal with lawyers.

3. Radio, Curation, and Artist Credits

Verified artists upload from My Account → Releases into a staff-mapped NLCR directory. Staff approve those tracks into the NLC Artists playlist. Everyone else who wants a track on the radio must use Submit → Radio. Those tracks live on Curation until curators vote them in or staff approve them into the Open Submissions playlist. Artists cannot pick or change playlists. Submitting is not a right to airtime.

The first radio name you use on Curation (or the display name staff set when verifying you) is bound to your account. Nobody else may claim that credit. You may rename it at any time from My Account → Releases; we will update the artist credit on your releases and the public directory (your /artists page if you are verified, or your Curation folder if you are not). The staff-mapped NLCR folder is not renamed. You may also set a Source URL (preferred social) that we stamp on your NLCR files. We may refuse, revert, or reassign names that impersonate others, collide with a verified artist, or violate these Terms.

From that same Releases tab you may edit titles and album art, replace a track with a newer MP3 mix, or delete a release. Replacing audio does not obligate us to pull prior mixes from logs, caches, airchecks, or anyone's recording of the live stream. Deleting a release removes it from Curation and, when we can, from NLCR; we may still retain backups, moderation copies, and broadcast records.

We reserve the absolute right to reject, take down, re-tag, move, keep off playlists, or never play any radio submission — including after it has been curated or approved — for any reason or no reason, with or without notice. Mapped directories, playlists, and Auto-DJ are ours to run.

4. Discord Bot, Slash Commands, and Server Installs

The NOLIFECLUB Radio application ("the Bot") is part of the Services. Inviting the Bot, approving its permissions, running slash commands, or keeping it in a Discord server is use of the Services and is bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Discord's Terms of Service, and Discord's Community Guidelines.

If you click an install or invite link (including nolifeclub.net/invite), you represent that you have legal authority to add applications to that Discord server (typically Manage Server or Administrator). You are responsible for how the Bot is used in that server. We are not responsible for other communities that install the Bot, for content posted there, or for how their members use slash commands.

Slash commands may post public embeds in the channel they are used — including member profiles, gallery art, showcase promo images, radio metadata, and links back to the site. Profile edits made through Discord (for example /settings) update the linked site account and are User Content. Commands that look up another member may display that member's public club profile to everyone in the channel.

The Bot stores a home voice channel per guild so it can join and play NOLIFECLUB Radio. Stream URLs, now-playing endpoints, and locale are locked to NOLIFECLUB. You may not point the Bot at third-party streams or treat it as a generic music bot.

Discord is a third-party platform we do not control. Outages, API changes, permission denials, and Discord enforcement actions are outside our warranty. The Bot may go offline, leave voice, drop commands, or be updated without notice.

We can remove the Bot from any server, revoke slash commands, disable the install link, or refuse service at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without notice — including violations of these Terms, Discord's rules, or because we feel like it.

Kicking or banning the Bot from your server stops it from receiving new commands there. It does not automatically delete your site account. See the Privacy Policy for data we keep after the Bot is removed.

5. Termination and Bans – We Can Kick Your Ass Out

NOLIFECLUB reserves the absolute right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate any account, access, or User Content at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without prior notice. This includes, but is not limited to, violations of these Terms, community guidelines, Discord rules, or simply because we feel like it.

We can kick anybody's ass out at a moment's notice. No refunds, no appeals process guaranteed, no hard feelings (or maybe some). This is a private club, not a public utility.

You may also leave on your own. Deactivate to pause. Delete to wipe the login. Those controls are in My Account. Deleting does not erase public User Content already posted to the forum or approved into the gallery; that content is re-attributed to “Deleted member.” Radio files already ingested by NLCR may remain until we purge them.

6. Intellectual Property

The Services and all content, features, and functionality (excluding User Content) are owned by NOLIFECLUB or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without express permission.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the radio will be on, the uploads will work, that your favorite track will play, or that the Bot will stay in voice, register slash commands, or remain installed in any server.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NOLIFECLUB and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services, including use of the Bot in third-party Discord servers.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NOLIFECLUB, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the Services, your invitation or operation of the Bot in a Discord server, User Content, or violation of these Terms.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance. Check back occasionally – or don't, we might ban you anyway.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of wherever the server is currently humming, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in that jurisdiction. Good luck.

By using NOLIFECLUB you acknowledge that this is a creative collective with a late-night radio vibe. We play by our own rules, and these Terms exist mainly to keep the lawyers (and the vibes) at bay.
